The news was announced on social media, on the eighth anniversary of the sequel Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which released in 2015. On Monday, the makers announced on X that the Baahubali film franchise will be re-releasing this October worldwide in cinemas. They wrote, “Baahubali is coming back to the BIG SCREENS…. This October, let’s celebrate even bigger! #BaahubaliReturns. Jai Maahishmathi….”

Shot over a period of four years, the period action drama stars Prabhas in the lead role in both its parts. The movie also stars Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati, Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah Bhatia and others in pivotal roles. With music composed by MM Keeravani and screenplay by V. Vijayendra Prasad, the movie set the bar high for all Indian films.
