Vicky Kaushal recently renewed his lease for his apartment located in the posh Juhu locality in Mumbai. According to the property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards on the website of the Inspector General of Registration (IGR), the monthly rent is a whopping Rs 17.01 lakhs. The three-year lease was officially renewed in April 2025.
Vicky Kaushal’s rented apartment is located in Raj Mahal, a ready-to-move residential project. According to the property registration documents, the apartment has a carpet area of 258.48 sq. m. (2,781.83 sq. ft.). The renewal transaction also has the added stamp duty payment of Rs 1.69 lakh and registration charges of Rs 1,000. The lease agreement comes with three car parking spaces, along with a security deposit of Rs 1.75 crore.
An analysis by Square Yards shows that the current three-year lease agreement started from January 2025, at a monthly rent of Rs 17.01 lakh for the first and second years. This will then increase to Rs 17.86 lakh in the third and final year. Over the duration of this lease, Vicky Kaushal will pay a total rent of about Rs 6.2 crore. This renewal comes after the previous lease agreement of five years, which was signed in July 2021, was about to come to an end. The monthly rent in the previous lease period started from Rs 8 lakh.
Juhu, home to several Bollywood celebrities, is one of the most sought-after residential areas in Mumbai.
