Thudarum box office collection day 3
On day 4, Thudarum has earned Rs 1.4 crore till 2 PM, leading the net India collection to Rs 26.14 crore so far.
According to Industry tracker Sacnilk, the movie opened with Rs 5.25 crore on Day 1, followed by a strong growth of 63.81% on Day 2 with Rs 8.6 crore. Day 3 saw further momentum with Rs 10.89 crore (approximate). The majority of the earnings came from the Malayalam version, with minor contributions from the Telugu release. At the end of Day 3 the net India collection touched Rs 24.74 crore.
Despite the promising star power and an intriguing crime drama plot, Thudarum has seen a significant dip in its box office performance by Day 4. On its fourth day in theatres, the film managed a relatively modest 40.15% occupancy rate during the Malayalam 2D morning shows. However, by the afternoon, evening, and night shows, the occupancy rate dropped dramatically to 0%, signalling a sharp decline in audience interest as the day progressed.
This drop in theatre attendance is a cause for concern, as such a significant fall-off from the morning shows to later screenings typically indicates a lack of sustained interest. The film had opened with good expectations, but its performance over the first few days suggests that the audience’s enthusiasm may not have translated into long-term box office success.
