Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL), the FMCG division of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited (RRVL), reported revenues of Rs 11,450 crore for the fiscal year 2025, marking significant progress in its second year of operations.
The company’s beverage brand Campa and packaged water label Independence achieved double-digit market shares in several Indian states, with each brand surpassing Rs 1,000 crore in turnover. RCPL had acquired the Campa brand from Pure Drinks in 2022 and relaunched it within 18 months.
General trade contributed over 60% of RCPL’s total sales. According to CFO Dinesh Taluja, the company expanded its distribution network by 30% year-on-year, with its merchant base growing by 60%. Taluja added that the company’s sales grew 3.5 times over the previous year, driven by expanded market reach.
During the year, RCPL launched the sports drink Spinner and acquired the personal care brand Velvette, strengthening its presence across daily essentials such as soaps (Glimmer, Puric), dishwashing products (Dozo), and home care (HomeGuard). The company also invested in reviving older brands like Campa, Sil sauces, and Ravalgaon confectionery.
RCPL’s distribution reach currently spans approximately one million outlets, covering 30–35% of the Indian market. The company aims to expand its distribution footprint to 5–6 million outlets over the next three years. Separately, Reliance Retail reported a 15.7% year-on-year increase in March-quarter revenues to Rs 88,620 crore. Full-year revenues rose by 7.9% to Rs 330,870 crore. EBITDA grew 8.6% to Rs 25,053 crore, while annual net profit increased 11.3% to Rs 12,388 crore.
Reliance Retail added 2,659 stores during FY25, bringing the total count to 19,340, although total operational area declined slightly to 77.4 million square feet due to store rationalisation. The company’s registered customer base grew by 14.8% to 349 million. RCPL continues to operate in a competitive FMCG landscape alongside firms such as Hindustan Unilever, Nestlé, Dabur, Marico, and Godrej Consumer Products.
