2015’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan was possibly one of the best films of Salman Khan’s career. Written by renowned screenwriter V. Vijayendra Prasad, the film opened to tremendous response from the audience. As reports of a sequel, Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 have been buzzing on the internet since last year, the veteran writer confirmed that when he narrated a part of the new script, Salman liked it.
Speaking to PTI, Vijayendra Prasad said, “I met Salman last Eid. I narrated a line to him, he liked it. But let’s see what happens.” So fans can be hopeful that a sequel may get announced soon.”
According to Pinkvilla reports, Salman and Vijayendra Prasad have met several times over the last few months and have developed a strong story that could be the sequel. The publication also reported earlier that Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 is in the development phase.
The publication also reported its sources informing that they might even get director Kabir Khan for the sequel, thus getting the trio to reunite for the film. But they also added that nothing has been finalised yet.
V Vijayendra Prasad, father of S. S. Rajamouli, is a celebrated writer, known for writing scripts of several major Indian films, like Magadheera (2009), Eega (2012), the Baahubali films (2015-2017), Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), and RRR (2022).
