Influencer-actor Kusha Kapila, woke up to several reports on Sunday from fans who complained about receiving “’inappropriate messages” and “money requests” from her Facebook account. She quickly warned her fans about a fake account claiming to be her and asking for money from her followers. She posted a story urging everyone to refrain from interacting with the account and ignoring the messages.
Kusha also posted a screenshot of the fake Facebook account, which is using her picture and name. The bio of the fake account with 122K followers said, “Small and stupid.”
Along with the screenshot, she added a note that said, “Apologies for highlighting this at a time like this but this Facebook page is not owned/ run by me. Please ignore all inappropriate messages/money requests. Thank you to everyone who pointed this out. Please stop engaging with this page, thinking it’s me.”
