These speculations peeked once the pop superstar lowkey went into a slumber presumably to get a shut eye after wrapping up her prolonged record-shattering and billionaire-making Eras Tour in December 2024. Her beau, Travis Kelce, also flew under the radar post his team Kansas City Chiefs’ numbing Super Bowl loss earlier this year. The two even skipped making their big Met Gala debut last week.

Taylor and Travis finally stepped out into the light on Sunday. Their reassuring joint appearance, as seen in social media snaps, in Philadelphia caught them arriving hand-in-hand for a Mother’s Day lunch. The couple reportedly celebrated the family-filled holiday with the Chiefs tight-end’s mother, Donna Kelce, brother Jason Kelce and sister-in-law Kylie Kelce at Talula’s Garden restaurant.

In a single day, the Grammy-winning pop star not only quashed breakup rumours, but also sounded the alarm on her once-dearest friendship with Blake Lively. On Friday, It Ends With Us actor-director Justin Baldoni’s legal team subpoenaed Taylor as a witness in the legal battle with his co-star Blake.
Taylor Swift-Blake Lively’s reportedly strained friendship
The 35-year-old starlet, whose song “My Tears Ricochet” is featured in the movie adaptation of the popular Colleen Hoover novel, was once seen regularly seen enjoying herself in the Gossip Girl star’s company. However, her side’s recent comments seek to distance her from Lively’s. This past weekend, Swift’s representative insisted on her minimal involvement in the film, accusing Baldoni of “using” her name in a “tabloid clickbait” scheme, contrary to allegations that she approved the Isabela Ferrer’s casting as the younger version of Lively’s character, Lily Bloom.
A follow-up Daily Mail report now suggests that she feels betrayed and “exploited” by her longtime gal pal. A source slammed the claims surrounding the “Bad Blood” crooner’s role in the casting process. “Speculation that Taylor chose young Lily in casting is simply not true. This subpoena delves into events and things that did not occur,” they told the UK news house.
They further pushed claims that the “Look What You Made Me Do” songstress, who is godmother to Lively’s daughters, blamed the actress for her name being dragged through the mud. “Taylor has been aware that Blake has been exploiting her name for a while now, but this subpoena takes it to a whole new level,” the person added.
Although A Simple Favor actress has yet to comment on these speculated concerns about her decade-long friendship with Taylor being in hot water, she backed the pop star in statement released via her spokesperson. “Mr Baldoni [continues] to turn a case of sexual harassment and retaliation into entertainment for the tabloids, going as far as suggesting that they sell tickets to a concert venue – Madison Square Garden – to witness Ms. Lively’s deposition, to subpoenaing Taylor Swift, a woman who has given a voice to millions the world over,” Blake’s rep said of Justin subpoenaing the singer, as per People.
