Reliance Industries has announced a dividend of Rs 5.50 per share for the full year, FY25. So far the Oil to telecom conglomerate has announced a total of 24 dividends May, 2003, rewarding the shareholders consistently. In just the last 12 months, Reliance Industries declared a total dividend amounting to Rs 10 per share.
The street will now watch out for the record date for the dividend. Apart from the dividend announcement, the board has approved Rs 25,000 crore fund raising via bonds. This fund raising will be done in more than one tranche.
It had announced a dividend of Rs 10 a share in August 2024. Before that, in 2023, RIL announced final dividend amounting to Rs 9 per share and Rs 8 per share final dividend the year before that. Even during the Covid period, the company has consistently rewarded shareholders with annual dividend payout.
At current levels, the dividend yield for Reliance Industries stands at 0.38%. This is after adjusting for bonus and splits. The Reliance Industries share price ended Friday’s session flat. However, the stock has had a good run for 2025 so far. It is up over 6.5% so far this year.
