Weekends are all about downtime. After a week full of work to meet deadlines, everybody needs some breather to relax and recuperate. From watching a favourite web series to planning a vacation, weekends are designated as family and me time. Harish Munireddy, Founder and CEO, Weatherseal, talks to BrandWagon Online about his weekends, favourite vacation destination and more.
What is the one thing you like to do when not working?
I enjoy things that help me stay active and balanced, like strength training, pranayama, and meditation. I also have a daily spiritual practice that includes chanting and breathwork — it gives me a sense of calm and clarity. Another habit I love is starting my mornings with a quick DarrenDaily video. It’s a great way to get a fresh perspective and a bit of inspiration to kick off the day.
How do you spend your weekends?
My weekends are all about relaxing and spending time with loved ones. I usually like to keep one day completely free to just unwind and do nothing — it helps me recharge. The other day, I tried to plan something, like going out with family or catching up with friends over dinner. It’s a nice balance of rest and connection.
What are your favourite gadgets?
I’d say my MacBook Pro, iPhone, and Bose earbuds are my go-to gadgets. They’re simple, reliable, and pretty much cover everything I need, whether it’s work, staying in touch, or just enjoying some good music or podcasts.
Given an option to choose another career, what would it be?
I’ve always wanted to be a pilot. Initially, I dreamed of joining the Air Force, but I had to let go of that idea when I realised I didn’t meet the height requirements. Looking back, I wish I’d considered becoming a commercial pilot — it feels like a missed opportunity. Even now, the dream is still alive, and I hope to get a private pilot’s license someday. Being an entrepreneur has been an incredible journey, but the skies have always had a special pull for me.
Which is your favourite vacation spot?
I love being in places with lots of greenery and water. One of my most memorable trips was to The Serai Kabini — the peaceful surroundings and natural beauty made it the perfect escape.
