The sisters confirmed in a joint statement that Nix is the daughter of their father, real estate mogul Mohamed Hadid, from a brief relationship he had with Terri Hatfield Dull following his 2001 divorce from their mother, Yolanda Hadid. “Over 20 years ago, our dad, while single, had a brief relationship that led to a pregnancy,” the Hadid sisters told the Daily Mail.
Aydan’s discovery of her biological roots
Aydan Nix grew up in Florida, unaware that Mohamed Hadid was her biological father until recently. She was raised by another man, whom she considered her father until his sudden passing when she was 19. Curiosity led Nix to take a genetic test, which revealed her biological connection to the Hadid family. The sisters shared that they first connected with Nix in late 2023, during her time studying abroad in Paris. Since then, Aydan has spent time with the entire Hadid family, including Mohamed, and has been warmly embraced by her newfound siblings.

While Mohamed allegedly always knew about Aydan, he reportedly has not provided financial support.
