Chai pe Charcha with BrandWagon – Brand Wagon News

Posted on 25 May 2025 by financepro

Weekends are all about downtime. After a week full of work to meet deadlines, everybody needs some breather to relax and recuperate. From watching a favourite web series to planning a vacation, weekends are designated as family and me time. Sargam Dhawan Bhayana – Director Tressmart and Planet Herbs Lifescience, talks to BrandWagon Online about her weekends, favourite vacation destination and more.

What is the one thing you like to do when not working?

When I’m not working, I find immense joy in spending time amidst nature or curling up with a deeply engaging book. There’s something incredibly grounding about being close to the earth or lost in a world created by words. It’s my way of stepping away from the daily hustle, reconnecting with myself, letting go of mental noise, and recharging creatively. These moments often spark my best ideas and remind me of the simple beauty in stillness.

How do you spend your weekends?

My weekends are a conscious blend of rest, reflection, and small indulgences. I gravitate toward long, mindful walks often without my phone, just to reconnect with my thoughts. Time with family is non-negotiable; it anchors me. I also love experimenting in the kitchen, trying out new healthy recipes or comfort food with a twist. Discovering a new wellness ritual, be it breathwork, journaling, or a new herbal tea, is something I look forward to. And while I do allow myself to fully unwind, I often carve out a quiet hour on Sunday evenings to map out the week ahead. It brings a sense of calm and clarity before Monday arrives.

What are your favourite gadgets?

I gravitate toward gadgets that enhance my well-being and simplify life. My Kindle is a constant companion, perfect for immersive, distraction-free reading whether I’m traveling or curled up at home. The DAFNI Muse is my go-to for hair days that feel like self-care, it’s quick, efficient, and makes me feel effortlessly put together. And then there’s my Apple Watch, which has become a personal assistant of sorts, it helps me stay mindful of my health, track productivity, and even squeeze in a short meditation when the day gets overwhelming.

Given an option to choose another career, what would it be?

If I could choose another path, I’d love to be a travel show host or a wellness retreat curator. Both roles resonate deeply with my passion for storytelling, holistic well-being, and human connection. Imagine exploring hidden cultures, ancient healing practices, and soulful destinations, then weaving those experiences into narratives that inspire others to live more consciously. It would be a dream to curate sanctuaries where people can disconnect to reconnect, and leave feeling transformed.

Which is your favourite vacation spot?

I’m endlessly inspired by Tuscany. Its rolling vineyards, golden light, slow-paced living, and food that feels like a love letter to the soul. It’s the kind of place that invites you to pause, savour, and simply be. Closer to home, I find deep peace in the Himalayas. The mountains have a way of putting life into perspective. Whether it’s Rishikesh, Mussoorie, or a hidden village trail, the calm is almost meditative, it’s where I go to detox mentally and spiritually.

A TV show, a movie, and an ad campaign you highly recommend watching:

• TV Show: The Bold Type
It’s smart, empowering, and incredibly relevant. Through the lens of three modern women navigating life, careers, and relationships, the show captures the challenges and joys of womanhood with depth and authenticity. It celebrates ambition, vulnerability, and friendship in a way that feels fresh and relatable.

• Movie: The Intern
This film is a beautiful reminder that growth and reinvention have no age limit. It’s warm, funny, and deeply human. The intergenerational friendship between the lead characters teaches you about grace, resilience, and the importance of staying curious, no matter where you are in life.

• Ad Campaign: Dove’s Real Beauty Campaign
An iconic campaign that continues to challenge beauty stereotypes and celebrate authenticity. It was one of the first to push back against unrealistic ideals, encouraging women to embrace who they truly are. It’s not just a campaign, it’s a cultural movement that redefined what it means to be beautiful.
