OnePlus has revealed that its next compact flagship, the OnePlus 13s, will debut in India on June 5 at 12:00 PM IST. The device will be available in three color options in India, two of which—Black Velvet and Pink Satin—are familiar from the OnePlus 13T lineup. However, the Indian market will receive an exclusive shade called Green Silk, while the gray color from the 13T will not be offered. Both the green and pink variants feature a new soft-touch coating referred to as Velvet Glass.
OnePlus 13s Design:
The phone will have a thickness of 8.15mm and weigh 185 grams. OnePlus states that the device is engineered for easy one-handed operation, featuring a well-balanced weight distribution and curved 2.5D glass panels on both the front and rear. In a significant design change, OnePlus is replacing its iconic Alert Slider with a new customizable Plus Key. This button can be programmed for various functions such as switching between sound profiles (Sound, Vibration, Do Not Disturb), activating AI features, or opening user-selected tools.
OnePlus 13s performance:
The OnePlus 13s will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and will feature one of the largest vapor chambers in its category to boost thermal management. Additionally, the company has introduced a special cooling layer integrated into the back cover to help dissipate heat more effectively during prolonged usage.
OnePlus 13s camera:
In terms of photography, the OnePlus 13s is anticipated to come with a dual rear camera system, both equipped with 50MP sensors, alongside a 16MP front camera for selfies.
OnePlus 13s price:
With its proven chipset, the phone is anticipated to deliver strong raw performance. Considering its premium components, OnePlus is likely to price the 13s between the OnePlus 13R (priced at Rs 42,999) and the OnePlus 13 (priced at Rs 69,999). The company will probably avoid setting the 13s price too close to the 13R to prevent market overlap.
