Defence electronic systems supplier Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) is expected to report order inflow of Rs 27,000 crore in FY26, excluding a potentially massive order for the Quick Reaction Surface-to-Air Missile (QRSAM) system, the company said during its post-earnings press conference. The company released its fiscal fourth quarter earnings report on Monday (April 19), post which its management shared a confident order inflow picture and added that it is anticipating Rs 30,000 crore worth of order for QRSAM by March or April next year.
If the anticipated QRSAM order materializes by the fourth quarter of FY26, total inflows could surge beyond Rs 57,000 crore.
BEL also highlighted that the visibility on the emergency procurement orders is expected after a week and the company is anticipating a minimum of 8 to 10 orders within this.
BEL further added that it is expecting an order regarding corvettes for the Indian Navy this year. “Various projects of the Army, Navy, and Air Force are being discussed. We are actively involving ourselves in those discussions, and we are hoping good orders will come under emergency procurement also for us,” the leadership team said.
The company is also expecting major orders for S-400 subsystems going forward, it confirmed.
As of April 1, 2025, BEL announced in a regulatory filing, the order book position of the company stood at Rs 71,650 crore.
For Q4FY25, BEL reported profit at Rs 2127.02 crore, beating estimates. This was 18.39 per cent higher on account of higher revenues. It posted revenue from operations at Rs 9149.49 crore, posting a growth of 6.84 per cent as against Rs 8564.08 crore reported during the fourth quarter of previous financial year.
Shares of Bharat Electronics were up 0.87 per cent at 12:50 pm today at a trading price of Rs 366.70.
