Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) on Monday released its fiscal fourth quarter earnings report with profit at Rs 2127.02 crore, beating estimates. This was 18.39 per cent higher in comparison to Rs 1796.67 crore recorded during the corresponding quarter of FY24. The profit growth was on account of higher revenues.
It posted revenue from operations at Rs 9149.49 crore, posting a growth of 6.84 per cent as against Rs 8564.08 crore reported during the fourth quarter of previous financial year. The company EBITDA stood at Rs 2,816 crore.
During the quarter in review, BEL achieved a turnover of Rs 8850.42 crore as against Rs 8335.01 crore recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.
According to a CNBC TV18 poll, BEL was expected to post Q4 profit at Rs 1813 crore and revenue for the quarter in review was estimated at Rs 9047 crore.
For the full year, the Navratna Defence PSU has achieved a turnover of Rs 23,024.10 crore, registering a growth of 16.17 per cent during FY25 over the turnover of Rs 19,819.93 crore recorded during the previous year.
The order book position of the company as on 1st April, 2025 stood at Rs. 71650 cr.
Dividend announcement
The company board of directors has recommended a final dividend of Rs 0.90 per equity share (90 per cent) of Re 1 each fully paid-up for the financial year 2024-25 subject to approval by the shareholders in the next Annual General Meeting of the Company.
