This summer, DLF Malls and The Legends Immersive Cinema is set to host an art show that brings together two of the greatest creative minds in history — Leonardo da Vinci and Vincent van Gogh. Led by Theia Enterprise India and powered by state-of-the-art European-grade immersive technology, this isn’t just another exhibit – it’s a cinematic experience where guests step inside iconic masterpieces and explore the minds behind them. Think Starry Night swirling around you, or standing face-to-face with the Mona Lisa – who just might respond in your language, thanks to cutting-edge AI.
With a bold fusion of AI, immersive storytelling, and 3D interactive projection, visitors can wander through van Gogh’s vivid landscapes or uncover da Vinci’s intricate inventions—brought to life with 35 laser projectors, Dolby Atmos sound, and 13 lidar motion sensors. Touch, movement, and even QR codes enable guests to trigger live responses and unlock narrative layers in real time.
“The arrival of Legends Immersive Cinema at DLF Promenade marks an extraordinary moment in India’s way of experiencing art,” said Ms. Pushpa Bector, Senior Executive Director & Business Head, DLF Retail. “This extraordinary event–where visitors chat with Mona Lisa and walk through Starry Night–perfectly displays our philosophy of offering experiences that surprise and engage. By hosting this world-first pairing of Da Vinci and Van Gogh in a touchable, interactive environment, we’re not simply presenting art—we’re inviting our visitors to live inside it.”
The venue spans 4,300 sq. ft. and is designed to be as accessible as it is awe-inspiring, with twelve shows scheduled daily and a limited audience per session. From families and school groups to art aficionados and corporate teams, everyone is invited to discover a redefined cultural experience that is both intellectually rich and visually spellbinding.
The immersive da Vinci showcase, titled Da Vinci Genius, offers a 45-minute voyage into the Renaissance master’s universe. Guests walk through floor-to-ceiling projections of The Mona Lisa and The Vitruvian Man, interact with animated inventions, and even have conversations with the famed lady herself—thanks to a world-first AI integration. The exhibit also features an original soundtrack scored by Grammy-winning DJ Sasha, elevating the sensory experience to new artistic heights.
Meanwhile, Van Gogh – An Immersive Story makes its Indian debut in partnership with DLF Malls. This 40-minute visual odyssey showcases over 300 of the Dutch master’s works, including Sunflowers and The Bedroom, in an emotionally charged journey through his artistic life, narrated through voiceovers and an evocative score.
“Visitors can now immerse themselves in the visionary mind and life of one of the greatest artists of the last millennium,” said Bert van der Ryd, Managing Director of Phoenix Immersive, the production house behind the da Vinci showcase. “This immersive show, designed for all ages, combines incredible technology with a robust educational aspect, offering a fresh and captivating exploration of da Vinci’s life and the power of his ideas in today’s world.”
He added, “The AI-driven interactions, like ‘chatting’ with the Mona Lisa, bring Leonardo’s genius into the modern age, making it both exciting and educational.”
After enchanting over 50,000 visitors in Mumbai and making stops in Berlin, Amsterdam, Florida, and Tallinn, Legends Immersive Cinema now lands in Delhi as part of a larger nationwide tour set to travel to Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and beyond.
From curated educational outings to corporate engagements, Theia Enterprise is also offering group packages—making this experience as accessible as it is unforgettable.
So, whether you’re a curious student, a weekend culture seeker, or someone just wanting to see the Mona Lisa smile at you in real time – Legends Immersive Cinema promises an encounter with art that’s intimate, intelligent, and thoroughly immersive.
