Eicher Motors
Eicher Motors reported a 27% growth in its consolidated net profit at Rs 1,362 crore for Q4FY25, compared to Rs 1,070 crore in the same period last year. The company also recommended a final dividend of Rs 70 per equity share for FY25. Its revenue from operations for the quarter ended March stood at Rs 5,241 crore, up 23% from Rs 4,256 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
Tata Power
Tata Power posted a net profit of Rs 1,043 crore in Q4FY25, a 16.5% jump over Rs 895 crore it posted in Q4FY24. Analysts had predicted a net profit of Rs 1,022 crore. Its revenues were in line with analyst estimates. It reported revenues of Rs 17,096 crore, posting a jump of 7.9% over Rs 15,847 crore in Q4FY24.
Jubilant FoodWorks
Jubilant FoodWorks reported a net profit of Rs 49.33 crore, surpassing estimates. Profit dropped by 76.31% in comparison to Rs 208.25 crore recorded during the corresponding quarter of FY24. It posted revenue from operations at Rs 2103.18 crore, up 33.64 per cent as against Rs 1573.80 crore reported during the fourth quarter of the previous financial year.
Muthoot Finance
Muthoot Finance reported a 43% surge in standalone net profit for Q4 FY25 at Rs 1,508 crore, supported by strong growth in interest income amid a rise in demand for gold loans. The country’s largest gold-loan NBFC posted an interest income growth of 42% to Rs 4,784 crore in Q4FY25, while total expenses increased at a faster pace of 44% to Rs 2,868 crore.
Shree Cement
Shree Cement posted a fourth-quarter profit that fell just shy of analysts’ estimates on Wednesday, as record sales volumes were outweighed by higher expenses and a bigger tax bill. The company’s net profit dropped about 16% to 5.56 billion rupees ($65.2 million), just below analysts’ average expectation of 5.59 billion rupees, per data compiled by LSEG. In a seasonally strong quarter. The company’s sales volumes hit a record 9.84 million tonnes, lifting revenue by 3% to 52.40 billion rupees, which exceeded analysts’ expectations. However, its total costs rose about 5% to 46.48 billion rupees.
HAL
Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL) reported a nearly 8% drop in its fourth-quarter profit on Wednesday, weighed by a delay in the supply of its Tejas light combat aircraft. The fighter jet maker’s consolidated profit fell to 39.77 billion rupees ($465.9 mln) in the quarter ended March 31, from 43.09 billion rupees a year earlier.
Vodafone Idea
Vodafone Idea will launch its 5G services in all 17 priority circles by August this year, the telco said in a statement on Wednesday. The firm also said that it will take its commercial 5G services in the country live in Delhi NCR on May 15. Since March this year, it has launched consumer 5G in Mumbai, Chandigarh and Patna, so far.
Torrent Power
Torrent Power posted a jump of 141% in its consolidated net profit at Rs 1,077.22 crore Q4FY25 compared with the same quarter a year ago, mainly due to the reversal of deferred tax liabilities of Rs 637.09 crore. The company had a consolidated net profit of Rs 447.04 crore in the quarter ended on March 31, 2024. Total income slightly dipped to Rs 6,570.69 crore in the reporting quarter from Rs 6,625.45 crore in the same period a year ago.
