Samsung is preparing to unveil its Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone in India today. The official launch event will take place at 12 PM IST, introducing what may become the company’s thinnest smartphone to date. This will be a global launch, with the device debuting simultaneously in multiple countries.
At its Galaxy Unpacked event earlier this year, Samsung introduced the Galaxy S25 Edge. This device is expected to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display (2400 x 1080 pixels) with a 120Hz refresh rate.
It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, paired with 12GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB or 512GB. On the rear, the phone will boast a dual-camera setup, including a 200MP main camera with an ISOCELL HP2 sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide lens.
Reports suggest that the device will measure 158.2 x 75.5 x 5.84mm, excluding the camera module. The Galaxy S25 Edge may have a slight compromise in terms of battery capacity. According to leaks, it is expected to feature a 3,900mAh battery, which is smaller than the 4,000mAh battery in the Galaxy S25 and the 4,900mAh battery in the S25+. However, charging speeds are expected to be consistent with the other S25 models, supporting 25W fast charging.
Galaxy S25 Edge India Price:
The Galaxy S25 Edge is anticipated to be available in Titanium Jet Black, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Icy Blue colors. The 256GB model is rumored to start at 1,249 euros (roughly USD 1,385 / Rs. 1,17,680), placing it between the Galaxy S25+ and S25 Ultra in terms of pricing.
