Tata Consultancy Services
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has cut the variable pay of its senior employees for the January-March quarter, according to a Moneycontrol report. This marks the third quarter in a row that the country’s largest software exporter has reduced variable pay for some employees.
Swiggy
Swiggy has shut down its hyperlocal delivery service, Genie, across multiple cities, marking the end of a vertical that failed to deliver the desired returns, sources said. Launched in 2020, Genie allowed users to send parcels and arrange shop pick-ups within the same city. At its peak, the service operated in around 60 cities, but struggled to scale or generate meaningful revenue, sources added.
Coforge
Coforge reported a strong growth in the March quarter. The company’s net profit increased by 21.2% to Rs 261 crore in Q4FY25, while revenue rose by 4.7% to Rs 3,410 crore. Earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) grew by 15.5% to Rs 449.4 crore, while operating margins improved to 13.2% from 11.9% in the previous quarter.
Mahindra & Mahindra
Mahindra & Mahindra reported a 22% year-on-year rise in standalone profit for the March quarter at Rs 2,437 crore, helped by a richer product mix in the SUV category and a surge in tractor margins. The automaker’s revenue from operations improved 25% y-o-y to Rs 31,353 crore.
Bajaj Consumer Care
Bajaj Consumer Care posted its fiscal fourth quarter earnings report with profit at Rs 30.98 crore. This was 12.93 per cent lower than Rs 35.58 crore recorded during the corresponding quarter of FY24. It posted revenue from operations at Rs 250.49 crore, up 4.39 per cent as against Rs 239.96 crore reported during the fourth quarter of the previous financial year. The company’s EBITDA dropped by 8.3 per cent YoY to Rs 32 crore.
Indian Hotels Company
Indian Hotels Company posted a 28.4% increase in consolidated net profit, standing at Rs 562.66 crore, for the fourth quarter of FY25. The firm had a net profit of Rs 438.33 crore on a consolidated basis in the year-ago period. Its revenue from operations rose 27.3% to Rs 2,425.14 crore from Rs 1,905.34 crore a year ago. However, its total expenses surged to Rs 1,764.26 crore against Rs 1,416.77 crore in the year-ago period.
DCM Shriram
DCM Shriram reported a 52% growth in its consolidated net profit to Rs 178.91 crore for Q4FY25 on higher income. Its net profit stood at Rs 117.80 crore in the year-ago period. Total income rose to Rs 3,040.60 crore in Q4FY25 from Rs 2,555.23 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding year.
Glenmark Pharmaceuticals
Glenmark Pharmaceuticals said its innovation arm, Ichnos Glenmark Innovation (IGI), announced that the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted ‘fast track’ designation to ISB 2001, its investigational therapy for multiple myeloma.
Paras Defence and Space Technologies
Paras Defence and Space Technologies announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Israel-based HevenDrones Ltd to explore opportunities in the defence and civil drone markets. As part of the agreement, both companies intend to establish a Joint Venture (JV) in India aimed at developing and manufacturing logistics and cargo drones.
