Bandhan Bank has opened 16 new branches in five states. The bank has opened seven branches in Orissa, three in Jharkhand, three in Bihar, two in Andhra Pradesh, and one in Chhattisgarh.
The bank has been expanding its presence nationwide, and opening the new branches aligns with its strategy of broadening its footprint in the semi-urban areas. With these seven new branches, the total count of Bandhan Bank’s branches has reached 1730.
Bandhan Bank Q4 results on April 30
Bandhan Bank is going to announce the Q4 results for the financial year 2024-25 this week. In a filing to the NSE and BSE, the bank said that the meeting of its Board of Directors will be held on April 30, and the results for the quarter will be announced thereafter.
In Q3 FY25, the bank reported a Rs 11,002 crore in revenue, a 23 percent yoy growth. Furthermore, the bank posted 2427 crore in the profit after tax (PAT)
By the end of Q3 FY25, the Bandhan Bank had a total of Rs 1.41 lakh crore in deposits and 1.32 lakh crore in advances. The bank posted a 20 per cent and 14 percent yoy growth in deposits and advances, respectively.
Founded in 2015, this is the 10th operational year of the Kolkata-based bank. The bank started with a total of 501 branches and tripled its branch count to 1500 by 2023. In addition to the branches, the bank has over 6000 mini banking outlets throughout the country. Currently, the bank has about 3.4 crore customers.
