Majority of people use their headphones to listen to music, but the fact is, earbuds can never shake the floor and they don’t add room ambience – something that conventional speakers offer. Not only that, speakers provide depth, power and a sense of physical presence to the music. They spread sound throughout the room, creating a more natural and immersive listening experience. We take a look at two new product introductions in the market for stereo listening.
GOVO GoLoud 900
The GoLoud 900 party speaker is a good package: great sound, powerful bass, and a host of exciting features. It comes with up to six hours of playback, making it perfect for extended parties and events. Music lovers can enjoy a rich, powerful sound experience with 200W speakers and Mega Bass that enhances every track, from thumping beats to crystal-clear vocals. It does justice to all kinds of music — Hindi film songs, especially those from Kishore Kumar that are accompanied by RD Burman’s music, to English love songs from the 80s and 90s era.
You can connect the GoLoud 900 via Bluetooth, aux, or USB to enjoy music from a variety of sources, ensuring versatility for any party setup. The speaker comes with user-friendly integrated controls, allowing the user to easily adjust volume, bass, and other settings. Also, there is the option to amplify your audio experience by pairing two GoLoud 900 speakers together with True Wireless Stereo (TWS) mode, providing even more powerful, immersive sound. Plus, there is a built-in karaoke function for the listener to even sing along to their favourite songs.
Urban Harmonic 2080

The Harmonic 2080 does not occupy much real estate; it can be kept in the study or on the sideboard in the living room. There is an accompanying wired subwoofer that enhances deep bass. The soundbar is equipped with a panoramic 3D surround sound feature that is said to enhance spatial audio effects, providing a 360-degree immersive sound experience. The system houses dual advanced audio drivers, the total power output is 80 watt.
The Harmonic 2080 soundbar offers multiple connectivity options (Bluetooth, USB) for easy usage. There are four dedicated EQ modes for movies, music, news and gaming. In addition, there are touch controls on the system to play, pause, adjust the volume and change tracks. The system sports an LED indicator for connection status.
