Kesari 2 Box Office Collection: Based on the chilling Jallianwala Bagh Massacre, this courtroom drama starring the evergreen Akshay Kumar has crossed the Rs 50 crore mark in India after exiting its first week. Starting off slow with a Rs 7.75 crore opening day despite collecting Rs 3 crore in advance bookings. While the occupancy rates were high as compared to other 2025 releases, Kesari 2 managed a double-digit collection only on its first Sunday grossing just above Rs 10 crore.
Also starring Ananya Pandey in a contemporary role, the intense scenes surely made the audience in awe of C Sankaran (played by Akshay Kumar), the lawyer who took the British to court. After seeing a dwindling performance, the Kesari sequel regained its momentum on Day 9. The total tally for its first week collection failed to cross Rs 50 crore in the Indian box office and stop-gapped at Rs 46.1 crore.
