The terror attack on innocent tourists in Pahalgam on Tuesday, April 22, has shaken the whole nation. The attack on civilians and tourists, killing at least 26 of them and injuring many others, has been condemned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, among many others. Actors from across the country, both Bollywood and the south film industry, also joined the bandwagon in condemning the heinous attack and sending condolences to the survivors. Here’s how the film industry reacted to the attack.
Shah Rukh Khan
King Khan is “sad” and “angry” at the heinous crime that took place in Kashmir. Calling it “inhuman”, the Jawan actor citizens to stand united for us to get justice against the crime.
Akshay Kumar
Akshay Kumar wrote about the horrible attack on his Instagram story. He wrote, “Horrified to know of the terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam. Sheer evil to kill innocent people like this. Prayers for their families (Hands joined emoji).”
Sunny Deol

Sunny Deol took Instagram to share his condolences with the victims’ families and highlighted the need to fight against terrorism. He wrote, “ Iss samay duniya ki soch sirf aatankwaad ko khatam karne ki honi chahiye kyunki iska shikar sirf masoom log hote hain, insaan ko apne andar jhaankne ki zarurat hai. Alia Bhatt
Alia Bhatt also posted about the heartbreaking incident on Instagram. She wrote, “ Innocent lives lost. Tourists, families, people who were just…. living. Seeking beauty. Seeking Peace.” She shared the grief and wrote, “ May those souls rest in peace. And may those left behind find strength somehow- though I don’t know how we even begin to ask them of that.”
Rajkummar Rao
Rajkummar Rao called the attack an act of terrorism. He wrote on his Instagram Stories, “Devastated by this horrific attack in Pahalgam. It’s heartbreaking to know so many innocent people have lost their lives in the heinous act of terrorism.” He shared his prayers with the families of innocents who lost their lives.
Sidharth Malhotra
However, actors Sidharth Malhotra and Sonu Sood call it a cowardly act. Sidharth Malhotra shared on his Instagram, “The terrorist attack in Pahalgam, jammu and Kashmir on innocent civilians is a cowardly act. I have full faith in our armed forces and I’m sure they will do the needful and ensure justice. My prayers and thoughts are with the family of the innocent victims. Jai Hind!”.
Sonu Sood
While Sonu Sood took to his Instagram to share his condolences with the families of victims, he also wrote, “Strongly condemn the cowardly terrorist attack on innocent tourists in Kashmir’s #Pahalgam. Terrorism should not have any place in a civilized world and this dastardly act is inacceptable.”
Ranveen Tandon
Ranveen Tandon, who was shocked and angry, wrote on X, “Om Shanti. Condolences. No words to express the anguish. Prayers and strength to the victims. Time we all let go of petty in-house fighting, UNITE and realise the true enemy.” She also shared the video of protest on her Instagram story.

Madhuri Dixit expressed her condolences for the victims and their families after the Pahalgam terrorist attacks. She wrote, “What happened in Pahalgam is beyond heartbreaking. Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, and everyone grieving this tragedy.”
