Jaat, an action thriller, has been performing well at the box office since its release. After 13 days on the big screen, the film still continues to rake in numbers at the box office. Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda’s action-drama initially endured an overwhelming response from audiences and witnessed a gradual increase in its momentum. The film earned Rs 2 crore on its thirteenth day of collection.
Jaat, starring Sunny Deol, was released on April 10, 2025, coinciding with the celebration of Mahavir Jayanti, helmed by Gopichand Malineni.
Jaat is running immensely even during the non-holiday period with a hike in the box office collections. According to Sacnilk, Jaat has grossed approximately Rs 78.25 crore so far, with a net collection of Rs 61.65 crore in India during its first weekend. The film entered its second week and crossed nearly Rs 16 crore in collections at the box office.
The momentum of the Jaat has been gradually declining since its release, with the film earning just under Rs 5 crore recently. Despite this, the film is giving strong competition to Akshay Kumar’s latest release, Kesari Chapter 2, and Salman Khan’s action drama Sikandar.
Sunny Deol, Randeep Hooda, and Regina Cassandra play lead roles in Jaat alongside Saiyami Kher, Ramya Krishnan, and others in supporting roles. The movie is based on a story of a mysterious outsider who arrived in a remote coastal village afflicted by the brutal power of a local person, Ranatunga. The story talks about injustice and the fight against oppression, as the strangers challenge the power.
