iQOO has announced the Z10, its next smartphone for India. The iQOO Z10 will break cover officially on April 11, 2025. The key USP of this phone is its gargantuan 7300 mAh battery, which—per iQOO’s claim—is India’s biggest ever. The Vivo spin-off has also shared the first look of the phone in question with today’s announcement.
While not explicitly mentioned, the iQOO Z10 is a sequel to last year’s iQOO Z9. The Z9 was launched with a bunch of “segment-first” hardware specifications including a 4-nanometre MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor and 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 sensor with optically stabilised lens at a price of less than Rs 20,000. With iQOO Z10, iQOO is promising a big battery for “mega taskers.”
“We are excited to introduce the fully loaded iQOO Z10, built for mega taskers, packed with India’s biggest battery ever—a massive 7300 mAh powerhouse,” iQOO posted on X, the platform previously known as Twitter.
The design is a far cry from anything we’ve seen from iQOO before. The camera housing is round, like a Realme phone. The back shown off in the teaser appears to have a marble-like finish. As is usually the case, we can expect more colours besides white.
iQOO isn’t sharing any more details at the time of writing. The iQOO Z9 has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it has the Dimensity 7200 paired with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS2.2 storage. Running the show is Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14. Powering the phone is a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
For photography, the iQOO Z9 has a dual camera setup headlined by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary sensor with OIS and another 2-megapixel portrait camera. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel camera for selfies.
iQOO Z9 comes in two memory trims— 8GB/128GB for Rs 19,999 and 8GB/256GB for Rs 21,999. The iQOO Z9 spawned four other phones: iQOO Z9x, iQOO Z9 Lite, iQOO Z9s, and iQOO Z9s Pro.
