Returning to the big screen after two years, Salman Khan is back with Sikander. Also starring Rashmika Mandanna, the Nadiadwala production brings the action movie to the screens on March 30. Salman announced the release date in his social media post on Instagram sharing a poster of the film.
Directed by AR Murugados, Sikander makes its debut in theatres on Ugadi and Gudi Padwa which are celebrated as the South Indian and Marathi new year according to customs. Skipping the Bollywood-patent Friday release, Sikander will release on Sunday, March 30. Releasing on Eid 2025, Sikander released three of its songs in early-March raising the expectations of fans for a promising entertainer. In an interview with Pinkvilla, AR Murugadoss mentioned, “The first half of Sikandar is around 1 hour and 15 minutes, and the second half is about 1 hour and 5 minutes. The overall run time is about 2 hours and 20 minutes.”
After a gap of nearly two years, Salman Khan returns to the big screen after a poor performance in Tiger 3. However, Khan also returns with Sajid Nadiadwala after his hit performance in Kick (2014). With Sikander also starring, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, Prateik Babbar, Anjini Dhawan, and Jatin Sarna, it was shot in multiple locations across India.
