Weekends are all about downtime. After a week full of work to meet deadlines, everybody needs some breather to relax and recuperate. From watching a favourite web series to planning a vacation, weekends are designated as family and me time. Pallavi Mohadikar, Founder & CEO, PALMONAS, talks to BrandWagon Online about her weekends, favourite vacation destination and more.
What is the one thing you like to do when not working?
One day it’s a deep dive into business psychology, the next it’s a gripping memoir of someone who’s built something remarkable. Also, half of my free time is spent answering “Why is the sky blue?” type of questions from my kids.
How do you spend your weekends?
Weekends usually revolve around my kids, taking them to play areas, and running around with them. It’s a mix of play, errands, and trying to keep up with their endless energy!
What are your favourite gadgets?
My Kindle. because it lets me carry an entire library without the backache. It’s my escape, my recharge, and my way of squeezing in reading time between the madness of work and kids.
Given an option to choose another career, what would it be?
A doctor, maybe? I’ve always been fascinated by understanding people, not just what they say, but what’s really going on beneath the surface. The idea of diagnosing, problem-solving, and making a real impact is something I would love.
Which is your favourite vacation spot?
Going back to my roots, my hometown. It’s where everything started for me, from Karagiri to now Palmonas. There’s something grounding about revisiting the place that shaped me, surrounded by familiar streets, old memories, and the people who knew me before the brands and the business.
