About the L2 Empuraan
Empuraan is the most hyped Malayalam film ever. The primary reason is perhaps the excitement of witnessing Mohanlal unleashing his mass avatar once again after Lucifer (2019) under Prithviraj’s astute direction.
Empuraan, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, is a gripping political drama set in Kerala, featuring Mohanlal, Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Prithviraj Sukumaran himself, Abhimanyu Singh, and Suraj Venjaramoodu. The film, with a runtime of 179 minutes, unfolds five years after the events of Lucifer, delving into the turbulent political landscape of Kerala, where the state is once again in a state of flux, demanding the emergence of a powerful savior to restore order and balance.
